Rise and Shine
An energizing 1 hour Kundalini Yoga class comprised of physical exercises and breath work, followed by a short meditation and relaxation. Like all kundalini yoga classes, this session will combine breath, mudra, eye-focus, mantra, body locks, postures, and meditation to bring an overall sense of balance and wellbeing. It is great way to start the day and perfect for all levels!
Sat Nam Rasayan®
This is an ancient healing art that has been passed through a lineage of masters and can be learned by anyone. It complements your everyday activities and increases the effectiveness of whatever you do by expanding your awareness and the capacity of your projective meditative mind. All of us are born with the innate capacity to heal. In this experiential class you will learn how to recognize that ability. Through simple exercises and meditation techniques, you will learn a healing system that uses your awareness and your consciousness as its only tools. You will experience how the mind of the healer becomes transcendent and how in the vastness of this consciousness healing happens. You will also learn how to incorporate into these techniques into your everyday life. It will be a fun relaxing class where you will experience what it feels like to heal and to be healed. All levels welcomed!
Yoga + Meditation for Spiritual Healing
This class revolves around a central emotional or spiritual theme each week, with supportive breath work, exercises, meditation, and music included. It is a holistic experience for body, mind, and soul! Set an intention to clear energies that are no longer serving you, or call in positive energy to deepen your practice. Some classes will be energizing while others will be more meditative… it’s a surprise! Suitable for all levels.
Prenatal & Postpartum Yoga
This is a very special class for women who are pregnant, planning on becoming pregnant, or have recently given birth. Nourishing yogic breathing and postures will help you prepare for birth, or support the healing process as you transition into the amazing gift of motherhood. This is a time to nurture yourself and tap into your body’s wisdom and strength! We will talk about the yogic philosophy on infant care and human development, as well as conscious pregnancy and releasing any fears and doubts around birth. Learn to connect with your baby through meditation and enjoy a welcoming community where you will be supported on your journey to motherhood.
Kundalini Yoga and Meditation for Transformation
Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan is called the Yoga of Awareness and the Yoga of Transformation. It is a dynamic, powerful tool that is designed to give you an experience of your soul. We use powerful kriyas and meditations combined with breath, mudra, eye-focus, mantra, body locks, and postures to challenge and strengthen the nervous system, balance the glandular system, expand the lung capacity, and purify the blood which brings balance to the body, mind, and soul. These classes are taught by KRI certified teachers and consist of tuning in with mantra, a short warm up and / or pranayama, a kriya or set of specific exercises, a meditation, relaxation (sometimes with gong) and a closing prayer. All levels welcomed!
Meditation & Mantra
This class focuses on utilizing the breath, mantra, and sound current to bring you into a deep state of meditation or Shuniya. Although some warmup postures are included, the focus is on developing the meditative mind to cultivate inner guidance, promoting habits and creating a strong connection to your soul and your soul’s work in this lifetime.
Saturday Night Sound Healing
(Second Saturday of Every Month)
Class opens with a Pranayam and gentle warm up followed by the Pure Vibration of the Gong. The sound of the gong allows us to completely surrender creating a state of deep relaxation.
On a physical level the gong releases tension and blocks in the body, it stimulates a higher functioning of the glandular and nervous system, it increases prana, and improves circulation.The gong also works deeply on the mental, emotional and spiritual bodies, purifying and quieting the mind and bringing it to a state of stillness where innate wisdom can be accessed.
