All regular and guest teachers at Cosmic Flow are graduates of the Aquarian Academy and are KRI-certified Instructors of Kundalini Yoga. Some also have a KRI Level 2 certification.
In addition, all Cosmic Flow teachers hold the Yoga Alliance certification of RYT 200 or RYT 500. Some of our senior teachers have been practicing and teaching for over 45 years.
Meherbani KaurMaster Teacher / Healer / Founder
Meherbani Kaur Khalsa is a KRI-certified teacher and a KRI Lead Kundalini Yoga teacher trainer and mentor. She has practiced and taught Kundalini Yoga most of her adult life and teaches from her heart with simplicity and humor.
In addition to Kundalini Yoga, she also practices and teaches the healing art of Sat Nam Rasayan®. She is one of a handful of practitioners worldwide who have been designated to teach this sacred art.
Since 1994, she and her husband, Guru Mantra Singh, have opened their home to the community holding daily morning Sadhana, teaching yoga and Sat Nam Rasayan® classes and hosting community events, yoga intensives, gong classes and seminars.
Meherbani Kaur teaches in both English and Spanish and currently runs a yearly KRI Level 1 Teacher Training program in San Diego, Ca.
GuruMantra SinghMaster Teacher / Healer / Founder
Guru Mantra Singh is a certified Kundalini Yoga Teacher with over 40 years of experience. He received Level III Sat Nam Rasayan® Certification, the highest level in the International School of Sat Nam Rasayan® and is recognized worldwide. He graduated from the Los Angeles Kundalini Yoga Teacher Program in 1976 and has been teaching for more than 40 years in the US, and internationally. He is a KRI Yoga/Meditation Instructor, Yoga Alliance Member, KYI Certified Teacher and Trainer, Life & Relationship Coach Consultant and Mind Map Instructor, a Gong Master and a Certified Level III Sat Nam Rasayan® Teacher and Healer, the highest level in the International School of Sat Nam Rasayan®.
He is one of the pillars of the 3HO San Diego Kundalini Yoga community, serving on several non-profits. He is a husband, father, grandfather, entrepreneur and business owner. Gurumeher KaurTeacher / Studio Manager
Gurumeher Kaur was raised in a household by two Kundalini yoga teachers. She attended Miri Piri Academy in India, a school where yoga, meditation and other spiritual practices were part of the daily curriculum.
Part of her many experiences in India included waking up at 4 am to do seva (selfless service) by cleaning the marble of the Golden Temple- the holy Sikh Gurdwara in Amritsar.
After her time in India she completed the KRI Level One Teachers Training Program as well as Level Two Life cycles and Lifestyles and Conscious Communication. She currently teaches regular Kundalini and sound healing classes, including her popular Earth Magick and Sound Healing class that combines Kundalini with sacred herbs and sound healing for a full body relaxation experience. It is her mission to share the benefits of Kundalini with others. She also offers Private Yogic Counseling sessions for those looking to make conscious shifts in their lives.
Abhishek SharmaTeacher (part time)
Abhishek Sharma lives by the calling “Giving is life”. He is a certified Level 1 Kundalini Yoga Teacher with Kundalini Research Institute (KRI) and International Yoga Alliance. With over 8 years of Yoga experience, his classes will leave you feeling positive and closer to your vision. He also holds a degree in Biochemistry from Bowdoin College and received his MBA from UC Berkeley Haas School of Business.
Ashlee is a KRI-certified Kundalini Yoga and meditation teacher, holistic health coach, writer, and editor from New York. She was trained as a teacher at Kundalini Yoga East in New York City, where this practice first transformed her being. She had been a spiritual seeker from a young age, but Kundalini Yoga lifted her out of a depression caused by disordered eating, body dysmorphia, and compulsive behavior. This technology showed her the divine within to such a profound extent that she decided to become a teacher in her second class. Now, Ashlee lives to uplift and provide tools to those who are looking to reclaim and strengthen their inner power, vitality, grace, and compassion.
Brittanie holds a BFA in Visual Art with an emphasis in Graphic Design from Marshall University, and she earned her MS in Instructional Technology from ECU. When she is not working or teaching, she enjoys keeping up with her own Kundalini Yoga practice at home, camping, hiking, traveling, hanging out with friends and family, and making art. Sat Nam!

Christina, Amrit Jot Deep, is a KRI Certified Level 1 Instructor of Kundalini Yoga. As a mother of 3 children, Christina loves the householder’s practice, diving deep into the realms of the Infinite from her living room amongst the dog barking, dishwasher running and nerf gun battles! Christina has always been drawn to all types of soul searching, but finding this daily practice was her saving grace and she loves to share it with everyone she can. When Christina is not on her yoga mat, her heart is filled by caring for other children or friends in need. You will usually find her among the trees, on the mountain trails, watching the desert skies or swimming in the ocean.
Dana Reece (Prempal Kaur), PhD, holds advanced degrees in Writing, Literature, and Education. She is a college professor as well as being a 3HO, KRI, and Yoga Alliance certified Kundalini Yoga Instructor, and an Inner Space Technique (IST) Practitioner.
Dr. Reece has over 14 years’ experience in meditation and techniques designed to develop and strengthen the energetic body. She combines spiritual vision and practice with “real-world,” results-oriented practicality. Her teaching style is characterized by compassion, humor, and a fiery determination to move students through their self-imposed fears toward clarity and confidence to achieve their highest potential.
Diana Otalvaro (Bhagti Kaur) discovered Kundalini Yoga in 2011 through a friend in her home country of Colombia, and immediately felt the change it made in her life. She began taking classes at Cosmic Flow (then the San Diego 3HO ashram) when she moved to San Diego in 2014, and graduated from Level 1 Teacher Training in 2016. She is fascinated by the vast study of healing, and also earned a Level 2 Reiki certification in Columbia. Her passion is sharing insights that have helped her in different aspects of life. Her favorite teaching from Yogi Bhajan is “Happiness is your birthright.” Outside the studio, Diana finds solace in nature and trees, and formerly worked as a Forestry Engineer in both public and private institutions.
Har Dev SinghTeacher
Har Dev Singh Khalsa is an international level One KRI Certified Instructor. At the age of twenty, he discovered the power and sweetness of Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan. Har Dev served and instructed students at Yogi Bhajan’s International High School, Miri Piri Academy in Amritsar, India. Har Dev has lived serving the community of Espanola, New Mexico home of KY Master Yogi Bhajan by leading early morning yoga and live music chanting for over four years. He has studied and worked closely with a vast array of Yogi Bhajan’s leading teachers and students in addition to his Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. Har Dev’s Kirtan music is the perfect blend of East meets West with profound rhythm and soul performing within yoga classes, workshops, and kirtan concerts. His enthusiasm and experience make every class uplifting and meditatively profound.
Harpal Kaur transplanted from Arizona to San Diego in February 2018. She discovered Cosmic Flow Yoga from a teacher at Summer Solstice in New Mexico. Harpal loves the inter-connectivity of the lifestyle, tradition, and practice of Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan. It has provided both practical and spiritual healing in all areas of life.
Harpal is a certified Professional Level 1 trainer with experience in multiple teacher trainings, with various lead trainers since 2010. She loves to travel and serve in the public community. She is currently pursuing her Masters as a clinical mental health counselor. Harpal intends to teach and incorporate Kundalini yoga and meditation as a counseling technique and methodology.

Lianne TwohigTeacher (part time)
Lianne Twohig is a KRI certified yoga instructor whose go to mantra is the Adi Shakti Mantra. When she isn’t dressed in white or chanting about primal power, she is usually teaching 2nd and 3rd graders with special needs and singing songs about the days of the week. Aside from her current dharmic path, Lianne has a soft spot for literature, music, good food, and quiet getaways in the desert with her husband Niall.
A transplant from Massachusetts, Mary discovered Kundalini when she moved to San Diego in 2016. She fell in love with the practice and it’s benefits and decided to jump all in to become a KRI certified teacher. Her favorite things about Kundalini are discovering our relationship with the self and chanting. She has a bachelor’s in Biomedical Science and makes a living as a lab technician. It was the science of Kundalini that hooked her in, but the spirituality of the human experience that made her stay.
Niall TwohigTeacher (part time)
Niall Twohig is a KRI certified yoga instructor. He is a published poet and Doctor of Philosophy whose studies focused on nonviolence. He spends his time reading, teaching at the university, and navigating life’s ups and downs with his wife Lianne and their critters. His favorite mantra comes from Saint Francis of Assisi: Lord, make me an instrument of your peace.
Paul Moreno is a KRI Certified Level 1 Instructor and began teaching in 2015. Favorite mantras include Sat Siri Akal and Guru Ram Das. He has fallen in love with the experience and practice of Kundalini Yoga and Meditation, and the way it makes him feel. His other passions are surfing, the ocean, travel, music, and burritos! He strives to live by Yogi Bhajan’s advice: “if you want to master something, teach it.”

Shar Monteiro (Sat Shanti Kaur) is a Universal Mama to many souls who embraces “UBUNTU ” a quality that includes the essential human virtues; compassion and humanity. It’s the belief in a universal
bond of sharing that connects all . Shar has walked a spiritual path for many decades. She has a vast knowledge of many indigenous teachings and enjoys learning.
Shar is a global citizen who was born in South Africa, but also lived in the UK, Portugal and finally moved to the USA in 2008, currently residing in San Diego.
Just like her spiritual name implies, she embodies divine peace in the world by connecting to her inner truth and sharing with all who are interested in elevating and being their best versions of self.
Shar discovered the benefits of Kundalini yoga in South Africa in the late 90’s and has an ongoing love for this amazing technology that assists humans in such a simple, yet powerful way.
She graduated KRI international Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training level 1 in 2019 with a view to taking the technology with her wherever she goes.
Outside of her yoga practice she consults online, does Chirology for private clients, smudges homes & businesses, enjoys attending sweat lodge ceremony and spending time with family in community.

Tyler has completed a 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) in Hatha Yoga and Positive Psychology and a 220 hour Level 1 YTT in Kundalini Yoga with the Kundalini Research Institute. Tyler’s yogic path follows that of non-dual Śaiva Tantra (Tantrik Śaivism). He has completed the Tantrika Institute course, Foundations of Tantrik Yoga: An Introduction to Classical Tantra, as taught by the Trika and Krema lineages dating back 1,000 years to the Kashmir region of India.
Tyler began practicing mindfulness meditation in 1998, and after experiencing the immense benefits, started to explore various yoga disciplines in philosophy and practice. A scientific background led him along a path where science and spirituality merge. Thus, he was naturally drawn to Kundalini Yoga as it has been described as the science of angles and triangles. Tyler evokes crystal singing bowls as a sound healing modality and is dedicated to further understanding and practice of various yogic traditions to serve his highest self and others on their journey.
